With fine line tattoos becoming one of the most popular services in the industry, this training is designed to teach beginners the foundation of clean line work, precision, and proper tattoo fundamentals. You will learn my signature techniques along with the ability to adjust your style to your client’s needs. Some clients want something soft and minimal, and others prefer more bold detailed pieces. I will teach you how to pivot to both so you can create consistent results and attract a wide range of clients.

This beginners course is 7 days long. The first four days are online and the following three days are in the studio at Caked Glam Co. Followed by 30 days of in person shadowing live appointments or taking clients.

Program Schedule Outline:

Day 1 to Day 4: Online Training

You will receive access to the online portion of the course at 8 am Arizona time. You can study from the comfort of your home at your own pace. Starting early is recommended so you enter the in person portion with a strong understanding of the fundamentals. You will keep unlimited access to the online course for six months.

The online training covers:

• Tattoo fundamentals

• Skin anatomy and ink retention

• Sanitation and safe practices

• Needle theory and machine basics

• Digital design and Procreate

• Stencil creation and mapping theory

• Live Online Demos 
  • Stencil Printing & placement
  • Tray and Machine Set Up 
  • Full Service Demo

Day 5 (10 am to 5 pm): In Person Day One

This day is focused on reviewing everything you studied online and beginning your hands on foundation. On this day you will receive your full tattoo kit along with a physical copy of the training manual. 

You will work through:

• A guided review of online lessons

• Procreate demonstrations and design examples

• Machine Education 
  • How to Set up your machine 
  • Machine Grip and hand placement

• Practice skin drills and technique building

• Stencil printing and placement basics

This day warms you up and prepares you for deeper hands on work.

Day 6 (10 am to 5 pm): In Person Day Two

Day two focuses on strengthening your technique and increasing your confidence.

You will continue with:

• Skin practice and line control

• Stretch and stability drills

• Stencil application practice

• Tattoo pacing and machine control

In the second part of the day you will watch 2-3 live model demonstrations from start to finish. You may record and ask questions throughout the entire service so you can learn each step clearly.

Day 7 (10 am to 5 pm): Live Model Day

This is your hands on model day.
Students are responsible for finding their model, however help is available if needed.

You and your instructor will work together from start to finish on:

• Placement and stencil fit

• Machine settings

• Needle choice

• Tattoo technique and line control

• Real time corrections and guidance

This day gives you the full experience of completing your work with professional support.

After Training

Thirty Days of Shadowing

You will receive thirty days of optional shadowing where you can return to the shop on designated days to observe real appointments or take clients for additional supervised practice.

EXCLUSION: 30 day shadowing not included in promotional or discounted courses.

Lifetime Support

You receive lifetime support and can reach out anytime with questions or guidance.

Lunch is included for every in person day.
